Hi this is just a little bit about myself. My name is Matt, I am a local engineer from Hastings. I served in the British Army as a Royal Engineer for 7 years after which I worked at Hotpoint as a field service engineer where I specialized in Hotpoint, Indesit, Whirlpool, Beko and Blomberg but I have worked on all brands for almost 10 years.
I am fully insured and DBS checked, I am also fully uniformed and compliant with health and safety. I aim to repair appliances on first visit without the need for parts, I also stock parts on the van to help repair on the first visit where I can. I sometimes will need to order parts if required and the customer is happy to go ahead with the repair and pricing of the parts.
I charge a one off fee that covers the call-out and labor for the repair this is a fixed price even if a further visit is needed due to ordering parts. If an appliance is beyond repair or to costly to repair only a call-out fee of £35 will be charged instead. I will carry out an electrical safety check on the appliance and I will check the plug socket the appliance is using using a loop test to ensure it is safe for use.

I hope to complete the call-out on the first visit. Parts are charged separately, all labour and call-outs included in the price. If the machine is unable to be repaired due to high cost parts or being beyond repair only a call out charge of £35 will be payable instead of £65.
